Creates the Task Force on the Education and Workforce Talent Pipeline with representatives from the legislature, state agencies, higher education institutions, industry, and educational administrators.

Task force shall meet at least quarterly at the State Capitol or another designated location, establish internal rules, and be staffed by the Bureau of Legislative Research.

Task force must review best practices in other states, identify STEM careers and educational pathways, evaluate career and technical education programs across all education levels, and recommend strategies to meet workforce needs and reduce skill gaps.

Task force shall examine methods to create statewide alignment among education and workforce programs, reduce duplication, implement data-sharing plans, and identify federal and state funding sources for workforce education.

Task force must file a preliminary report by February 1, 2022, a final report by September 1, 2022 (with optional update by July 1, 2023), and expires on July 1, 2023.
