AR SB733

Amends Arkansas Code § 20-7-109(a)(1) to modify the State Board of Health's authority over quarantine, isolation, and control of infectious diseases.

State Board of Health or its designee may only issue guidance (not enforce regulations) on quarantine, isolation, and disease control in public school districts and open-enrollment charter schools.

Each public school district and open-enrollment charter school retains the authority to independently determine whether and how to enforce quarantine, isolation, and disease control measures.

Preserves the State Board of Health's authority over quarantine and isolation enforcement in all other settings outside of public schools.
