Notes that women represent approximately half of the United States workforce and have served as leaders in business, science, government, math, art, literature, music, film, and athletics

Highlights that over 200,000 active duty service women and 2 million veterans have served in the United States Armed Forces, and references Hattie Wyatt Caraway of Arkansas as the first woman elected to the United States Senate in 1932
