Senate approves and confirms the appointment of Mr. Ronnie Roberts to the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Rural Endowment Fund, Inc.

The Arkansas Rural Endowment Fund, Inc. was established by Acts 1959, No. 27 as a private, nonprofit entity providing affordable agricultural and student loans to rural Arkansans.

The Board of Directors consists of seven members who serve as the final authority on policy matters and direction.

Act 27 of 1959 and the fund's articles of incorporation require Senate approval of new board directors after their appointments.

The Secretary of the Senate shall provide a copy of this resolution to the Arkansas Rural Endowment Fund, Inc. and Mr. Roberts upon adoption.
