Mr. Joe Wilson of Gravette, Arkansas, is president of Steaks for Sheepdogs, an organization that supports first responders across multiple states through community events.

The organization has distributed more than 30,000 ribeye steaks to police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians since its inception.

Steaks for Sheepdogs has hosted dinners in five cities over one month, including Pine Bluff and Helena-West Helena, Arkansas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The organization's mission is to recognize first responders who lack adequate appreciation and to build communities throughout the United States that respect and support first responders.

The Arkansas Senate commends Mr. Joe Wilson and other organizers for their work and commits to transmitting a copy of the resolution to Mr. Wilson.
