Appropriates $300,000 from the Arkansas Citizens First Responder Safety Enhancement Fund to the Office of the Treasurer of State for emergency medical expenses for the Arkansas Ambulance Association under Arkansas Code 19-6-802 for fiscal year 2022-2023.

Appropriates $300,000 from the Arkansas Citizens First Responder Safety Enhancement Fund to the Office of the Treasurer of State for local law enforcement expenses for the Arkansas Association of Chiefs of Police under Arkansas Code 19-6-802 for fiscal year 2022-2023.

Requires disbursement of funds to comply with State Procurement Law, General Accounting and Budgetary Procedures Law, Revenue Stabilization Law, Regular Salary Procedures and Restrictions Act, and other applicable fiscal control laws and Department of Finance and Administration regulations.

Requires that funds disbursed be used in compliance with stated reasons for the act as documented in budget manuals, agency requests, executive recommendations, legislative recommendations, and official meeting minutes.

Effective date is July 1, 2022; bill approved February 23, 2022.
