Authorizes Representative Rye to introduce legislation requiring the Division of Correction and Division of Community Correction to reimburse counties for the actual cost of housing state inmates in county jails

Amends Arkansas Code § 12-27-114(a) to require reimbursement when either division cannot accept inmates due to insufficient bed space or has inmates in county jails under prerelease programs or supervision violation sanctions

Establishes that county sheriffs determine the actual housing costs, with reimbursement rates set by the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State after consultation with Arkansas Legislative Audit and the Department of Correction and approval by the Governor

Specifies reimbursement begins on the sentencing date or probation placement date if judgment and commitment orders are received within 21 days; reimbursement begins upon receipt if orders arrive 22 or more days after sentencing or placement

Requires reimbursement rates to include county costs for transporting inmates to the Division of Correction
