AR SB10

Establishes 134 maximum regular employees for the Bureau of Legislative Research, including 1 Director (Grade SE05), 4 Assistant Directors (Grade SE04), and positions ranging from attorneys and analysts (Grade GS13-GS12) to administrative assistants (Grade GS04-GS06).

Authorizes 31 temporary or part-time "Extra Help" employees at rates not to exceed those provided in the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act.

Appropriates $17,962,148 from the State Central Services Fund for fiscal year 2022-2023, including $10,501,173 for regular salaries, $3,111,855 for personal services matching, $2,133,686 for operating expenses, $400,000 for capital outlay, and $893,480 for contingency.

Appropriates $1,696,396 for interim committee expenses (including $1,419,199 for per diem and mileage to General Assembly members and $277,197 for out-of-state travel), $271,060 for interim committee study expenses, and $65,806 for Energy Council expenses.

Reappropriates up to $2,000,000 from the balance remaining from prior fiscal year appropriations and authorizes the Bureau Director to transfer funds between line items as needed; effective July 1, 2022.
