Appropriates $4,500,000 from the cash fund for extra help and associated matching costs to the Auditor of State-Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys for fiscal year 2022-2023.

Appropriates an additional $4,500,000 from federal funds for extra help and associated matching costs for the same fiscal period.

Authorizes up to 45 temporary or part-time employees for the Auditor of State-Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys, with pay rates not exceeding those provided in the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act.

Requires all fund disbursements to comply with state procurement law, accounting procedures, revenue stabilization law, and other applicable fiscal control laws and regulations.

Effective July 1, 2022, and approved March 8, 2022.
