AR SB29

Establishes 5 regular full-time employee positions for the Department of Commerce - Division of Aeronautics, including an Aeronautics Director (Grade GS12), Engineer P.E. (Grade GS11), Aeronautics Assistant Director (Grade GS08), and two executive assistants (Grade GS07 each).

Appropriates $15,649,424 from the Division of Aeronautics Fund for fiscal year 2022-2023, including $325,197 for regular salaries, $101,698 for personal services matching, $222,529 for maintenance and general operations, and $15,000,000 for airport grant funding and related expenses.

Appropriates an additional $12,000,000 from federal funds designated by the Chief Fiscal Officer for airport grant funding and related expenses.

Requires all fund disbursements to comply with the State Procurement Law, General Accounting and Budgetary Procedures Law, Revenue Stabilization Law, and other applicable fiscal control laws and regulations.

Becomes effective July 1, 2022, and was approved February 22, 2022.
