Senate Bill 69 Summary

• Reappropriates remaining balances from capital improvement appropriations made in Act 847 of 2021 and Act 832 of 2021 to Arkansas public higher education institutions, effective July 1, 2022.

• Allocates approximately $127 million in reappropriated funds across 11 university systems for construction, renovation, maintenance, equipment purchases, and technology infrastructure upgrades.

• Includes funding for specific projects such as engineering buildings, science centers, library renovations, HVAC replacements, and deferred maintenance at institutions including University of Arkansas, Arkansas State University, Arkansas Tech University, and Henderson State University.
