Tim Griffin was elected Lieutenant Governor on November 4, 2014, as the twentieth in Arkansas history, and was reelected for a second four-year term on November 6, 2018

Griffin presided over the Senate with a tie-breaking vote and has earned a reputation for fairness and respectful treatment of senators while ruling on important motions and parliamentary procedures

Griffin served as Chair of the Governor's Council on Common Core Review, Vice Chair of the Governor's Transformation Advisory Board, member of the Governor's Military Affairs Committee, and conducted an organizational review of the Department of Human Services at Governor Hutchinson's request

Griffin advocated for childhood literacy improvement, STEM education promotion, expanded parental choice in education, and tax relief for Arkansas workers and families
