Department of Human Services shall convene the "Nonemergency Transportation Rideshare Expansion Study Workgroup" to study expanding rideshare services for Arkansas Medicaid beneficiaries.

Workgroup shall study the need for expanded rideshare services to healthcare facilities, comparing benefits of rideshare services versus traditional nonemergency transportation providers.

Workgroup shall analyze costs and potential cost savings of expanded rideshare services as part of the nonemergency transportation program.

Workgroup shall examine use of other operational and nonemergency transportation program flexibilities to expand services and improve cost effectiveness.

Department shall present report to Senate Committee on Public Health, Welfare and Labor and House Committee on Public Health, Welfare and Labor no later than December 31, 2023.
