Commissioner of State Lands has power to correct errors arising from erroneous sales of state lands, including manifest errors in land descriptions and note amounts.

Commissioner can issue certificates or take steps to perfect land entries when lands were erroneously confirmed, twice sold, misdescribed, or when sales are irregular or incomplete.

When the state cannot make title to land purchasers, the Commissioner may issue refunding certificates for amounts paid, which the State Auditor will warrant for payment from the State Treasury.

Certified extracts from the Commissioner's error records are admissible as evidence in Arkansas courts.

Commissioner's actions to correct errors are final unless overruled by court decision, and the Commissioner may charge fees authorized by law for these services.
