Wholesalers or manufacturing representatives may now conduct or assist retailers with tasting events on the retailer's premises under a retail liquor permit.

Sampling permit fees are reduced from $500 to $250 for individual wine, beer, or spirits licenses, and from $1,000 to $500 for combined wine, beer, and spirits licenses.

Daily sample limits per customer are increased to 6 ounces of wine, 8 ounces of beer, and 2 ounces of spirits for on-premises consumption.

Sampling permits continue to expire annually on June 30 and allow tasting events during regular business hours.
