Adult education charter schools shall receive funds available to public school districts under § 6-20-2305(a) and (b), plus any other funding they are entitled to receive under law or rules

For the first year of operation and when a new campus is added, initial funding estimates are based on July 1 enrollment, with adjustments in December based on first quarter average daily membership and a final adjustment after three-quarter average daily membership is established

For the second year and thereafter, previous year average daily membership is used to calculate foundation funding and additional education category funding amounts

Professional development funding is provided based on initial projected enrollment for the first year and previous year average daily membership for subsequent years

Adult education charter schools may receive funding from the operating entity, state and federal aids/grants/revenue, and private gifts and grants, with foundation funding paid in twelve monthly installments each fiscal year
