Office of Driver Services shall suspend a person's driver's license for 6 months from the date of their last seizure, with or without medication.

Six-month suspension is not required for nocturnal seizures, auras prior to seizures, or seizures resulting from temporary medical conditions or medical changes.

Office of Driver Services may reinstate a driver's license after 3 months for breakthrough seizures (unexpected seizures in previously controlled cases) or isolated seizures (one-time seizures with identified causes and low recurrence risk).

At the end of any suspension period, a person must apply for license reinstatement through existing procedures under Arkansas Code § 27-16-909.

Office of Driver Services may promulgate rules necessary to implement this section.
