Forest products industry contributes $5,400,000,000 to the state's economy, supports 26,515 direct jobs and 54,982 total jobs, with every forestry job creating 2.4 indirect jobs

Arkansas forests support habitat for over 600 fish and wildlife species, and 67% of forests are owned by family forest landowners with 1 in 14 Arkansans owning forestland
