Proclaims March 13-17, 2023, as AmeriCorps Week in Arkansas to recognize the service and commitment of AmeriCorps members

Notes that AmeriCorps provides opportunities for nearly 200,000 Americans annually to serve through nonprofits, schools, public agencies, and community and faith-based organizations

Highlights that more than 2,500 AmeriCorps members in Arkansas have worked at over 300 locations, providing services including tutoring, mentoring, environmental restoration, food security, and disaster response

States that since 1993, over 11,000 Arkansas residents have served approximately 18,000,000 hours through AmeriCorps and received over $36,000,000 in Segal AmeriCorps Education Awards for higher education and loan reimbursement

Requires a copy of the resolution to be provided to Ms. Shana Chaplin of EngageAR by the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives upon adoption
