Lake Hamilton Wolves Wrestling Team won multiple individual weight class divisions at the 2023 Class 5A State Wrestling Championship held February 24-25, 2023 at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Jack Stephens Center.

Senior Justin Crutchmer won the 190-pound weight class championship (his fourth individual state wrestling championship in four different weight classes) and was voted outstanding wrestler for the 175 to 285-pound weight classes.

Senior Izic Clenney won the 165-pound weight class championship and received All-State honors; freshman Adeline Jackson won the 110-pound weight class championship and received All-State honors; freshman Raylee Hunter won the 120-pound weight class championship and received All-State honors.

Head Coach John Utley, with assistant coaches John Gardner and Austin Weldon, led the team to win the 5A South Regional Tournament and qualify 13 boys and 3 girls to the state tournament.

House of Representatives commends the Lake Hamilton Wolves Wrestling team for their achievements and will transmit a copy of the resolution to Head Coach John Utley.
