Lake Hamilton Wolves Girls Indoor Track and Field Team won the 2023 Class 5A State Championship on February 18, 2023, at the Randall Tyson Indoor Track Facility at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, with a total score of 95.5 points.

Olivia Pielemeier won the 1,600-meter race with a time of 5:00:16 and the 800-meter race with a time of 2:17:27, breaking previous Arkansas girls state records, and won the Harold Valentine Outstanding Award for all classifications in the girls division.

The 4 x 800-meter relay team of Lani Inman, Audrey Herrell, Blair Turpen, and Olivia Pielemeier won their second consecutive title with a time of 10:07.66.

Head Coach Brandon Starr and assistant coaches Brandon Smith, Morry Sanders, David Davenport, and Mac Hurley led a 15-member team that also placed athletes in the 4 x 400-meter relay, 60-meter hurdles, long jump, 60-meter dash, and 400-meter run.

The House of Representatives commends the Lake Hamilton Wolves Girls Indoor Track and Field team for the 2023 Class 5A championship, with a copy of the resolution to be transmitted to Head Coach Brandon Starr.
