Recognizes the Firehouse Museum & Hostel of Arkansas, located at 1201 Commerce Street in Little Rock, for its contributions to the state.

Notes Arkansas has one of the highest fire death rates per 100,000 persons in America and over 17,000 paid and volunteer firefighters in over 1,000 fire departments.

Hostelling Arkansas was formed in 2003 and opened the Firehouse Museum & Hostel in 2016 in a former Fire Station 2 building in the MacArthur Park Historic District to teach fire prevention and safety.

The museum has experienced unprecedented interest in its mission and plans to expand facilities to over 12,000 square feet.

Directs the Chief Clerk of the House to provide an appropriate copy of the resolution to Mr. Johnny Reep, the Director of the Firehouse Museum & Hostel of Arkansas.
