SB11 Summary

• Establishes maximum of 60 regular employees for the Office of the Governor for fiscal year 2023-2024, including positions such as Chief of Staff (Grade SE04), Deputy Chief of Staff (2 positions, Grade SE03), and various administrative assistants.

• Appropriates $6,016,665 from the State Central Services Fund for personal services and operating expenses, including $4,159,629 for regular salaries, $1,372,341 for personal services matching, $446,706 for operating expenses, and $15,200 for conferences and travel.

• Appropriates an additional $500,000 from the Miscellaneous Revolving Fund for the Governor's Emergency Proclamation purposes under Arkansas Code 19-2-404.

• Authorizes up to 7 temporary or part-time employees ("Extra Help") at pay rates not to exceed those provided in the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act.
