Authorizes physician assistants to be identified as the treating provider in billing and claims processes when they deliver medical services to patients, if authorized by the supervising physician

Allows physician assistants to file claims as the billing provider for services delivered to patients who are Medicaid beneficiaries or have health benefit plans from healthcare insurers

Adds definitions of "health benefit plan" and "healthcare insurer" to Arkansas Code § 17-105-101, with healthcare insurer including insurance companies, hospital and medical service corporations, health maintenance organizations, risk-based provider organizations, and self-funded governmental plans

Eliminates the requirement for physical presence of the supervising physician for billing and payment purposes under health benefit plans or the Arkansas Medicaid Program
