AR SB136

Allows noncontributory members with service in both the Arkansas Public Employees' Retirement System and State Police Retirement System to file an affidavit claiming erroneous retirement if they retired from both systems when changing employers between the systems.

Changes the retirement date to the last date of employment with the most recent employer for members who file the affidavit under this section.

Requires the Arkansas Public Employees' Retirement System to create a formula to calculate accrued interest if the member paid contributions to or received benefits from the system covering their most recent employment.

Establishes a filing deadline of 6 months after retiring from final covered employment, or 6 months from the effective date of the act for those who have already retired.

Applies to noncontributory members including elected officials who establish service in both retirement systems.
