Establishes 280 maximum regular employees for the Auditor of State's Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys office across nine job classifications ranging from Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney II (9 employees, Grade GS15) to Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Part-Time I (53 employees, Grade GS09)

Appropriates $27,204,939 from the State Central Services Fund for fiscal year 2023-2024, including $20,501,247 for regular salaries, $6,658,292 for personal services matching, $40,600 for licensure expenses, and $4,800 for special deputy expense allowance

Authorizes up to 45 temporary or part-time extra help employees for the 2023-2024 fiscal year at rates not to exceed those provided in the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act

Appropriates $1,000,000 from the State Treasury cash fund for extra help and associated matching costs for fiscal year 2023-2024

Declares an emergency effective July 1, 2023, citing constitutional restrictions on appropriations and the need for immediate funding to maintain essential governmental operations
