Requires employees and agents of community services providers serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to pass criminal background checks before employment and once every five years during employment.

Mandates Arkansas Child Maltreatment Central Registry checks before employment and once every two years during employment.

Mandates Arkansas Adult and Long-term Care Facility Resident Maltreatment Central Registry checks before employment and once every two years during employment.

Requires Arkansas Sex Offender Registry checks before employment and once every two years during employment.

Requires drug screening testing for illegal drug use before employment for all covered employees and agents.
