Amends Arkansas Code § 14-77-106 to allow the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee to request investigations from both the prosecuting attorney and the Attorney General's office regarding violations of fiscal responsibility and management laws.

Requires the prosecuting attorney to report the investigation status to the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee within 45 days of being referred a matter.

Permits the executive officer or Legislative Joint Auditing Committee to request the Attorney General conduct an investigation if the prosecuting attorney fails to conduct a timely investigation.

Requires the Attorney General's office to provide a status report to the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee within 45 days of being referred a matter.

Establishes that a prosecuting attorney commits the offense of noncompliance if they fail to conduct a required investigation after being advised of facts relating to a charge of noncompliance against a public servant.
