Requires each public school in Arkansas to provide 1 hour of adoption awareness instruction annually to students in grades 6-12, beginning with the 2023-2024 school year.

Schools must provide the instruction at the beginning of each school year, either during a regular class period or at a special event organized for that purpose.

State Board of Education shall develop curricula, standards, materials, and units for adoption awareness instruction.

Required instruction topics include adoption benefits, types of adoption, foster care vs. private adoption, reasons adoption is preferable to abortion, available resources and agencies, statistical data on abortion and adoption, resources for pregnant students, and child development.

Schools must provide any written information from the instruction to parents, legal guardians, or persons standing in loco parentis of pregnant students.
