AR SB442

Requires refund of all court costs and fees paid by defendants in district or circuit court criminal cases if found not guilty or acquitted.

When a defendant is acquitted of some but not all charges, only court costs and fees specifically associated with the acquitted charges must be refunded.

Defines "court costs and fees" to include any sum paid by the defendant to a government entity or to a third party responsible for remitting payment to a government entity.

Adds new section 16-92-107 to Arkansas Code Title 16, Chapter 92, Subchapter 1.
