Property owners with contiguous and substantial property spanning multiple municipalities may choose development regulations from one municipality for an entire development project, limited to properties not exceeding 100 acres total.

Property owners must provide written notice identifying the property, project, permits sought, and the chosen municipality's regulations to each affected municipality's governing body and to all property owners within 500 feet of the property.

Written notice must be filed with the city recorder or clerk of each municipality where the property is located and must be signed by the property owner.

The chosen municipality must adopt a resolution identifying the property, project, and specific permits covered, after which the project is controlled exclusively by that municipality's development regulations.

Property owners cannot add additional property from other municipalities to a project once development regulations have been chosen under this provision.
