Appropriates $1,979,559 from the Oil and Gas Commission Fund for the Arkansas Geological Survey's regular operations, including salaries for 20 employees, extra help for up to 13 temporary workers, and operating expenses.

Establishes 20 maximum regular positions including 1 State Geologist, 1 Assistant State Geologist, 5 Geology Supervisors, 4 Professional Geologists, and various technical and administrative staff.

Appropriates $190,964 in federal funds for the State Geologic Mapping Program, including $43,660 in salaries and $48,779 for extra help.

Appropriates $240,456 from cash funds for Geological Research - Landslide/Sinkhole activities and $601,954 for Cash Operations including $275,000 for capital outlay.

Includes separate appropriations of $49,000 for the Geology Map Resale Program, $6,505 for earthquake awareness, and $1,125 for the Geology Museum, all effective July 1, 2023.
