Conway High School Lady Wampus Cats won the 2023 Class 6A Girls Basketball State Championship on March 10, 2023, defeating North Little Rock High School 62-53 at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs, Arkansas

Team finished ranked 17th in the country by ESPN and first in Arkansas, and represented the state on national television with a game against Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C. aired on ESPN

Chloe Clardy was named Most Valuable Player for the Class 6A Girls Basketball Championship, All-State Team, All-State Tournament Team, Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year, and will play at Stanford University

Savannah Scott was named to All-State Team and All-State Tournament Team and will play at Auburn University; Alexis Cox was named to All-State Team and All-State Tournament Team

Team is coached by Head Coach Ashley Hutchcraft and assistant coaches LaShanta Johnson, Steven Lamb, and Calli De Los Santos
