University of Arkansas at Little Rock Trojans Women's Basketball Team won the 2023 Ohio Valley Conference Regular Season Championship, becoming the first team to win the league title in their first year as conference members.

The championship marked the thirteenth conference title in sixteen years and eighteenth overall championship for the program, with the team reaching the conference tournament semifinals for the fifteenth time in sixteen years.

Team recorded an Ohio Valley Conference record of 46.33 points allowed per game in league play and finished the season undefeated at home in conference play.

Player Sali Kourouma was named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year, Head Coach Joe Foley received Coach of the Year honors (his sixth), and player Angelique Francis was named recipient of the 2023 Pat Summitt Most Courageous Award.

Senate commends the team and directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Head Coach Joe Foley upon adoption.
