Manila High School Lions Boys Basketball Team won the 2023 Class 3A Boys State Basketball Championship on March 11, 2023, at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs, Arkansas, defeating Bergman High School 61-57 in overtime.

Team compiled a conference record of 11 wins and 1 loss, an overall record of 31 wins and 5 losses, and won the Class 3A-3 Conference and District championships.

Head Coach Lee Wimberley led the team with Assistant Coach Heath Matheny and Volunteer Assistant Coach Matthew May.

Brayden Nunnally was named State Tournament Most Valuable Player and All-State, All-State Tournament, All-Region, and All-Conference Teams; Jaron Burrow was named All-State and All-State Tournament and All-Conference Teams.

The Senate recognizes the Manila High School Lions Boys Basketball Team for winning the 2023 Class 3A Boys Basketball State Championship, with a copy of the resolution to be provided to Head Coach Wimberley.
