Ebony Mitchell from Harrison, Arkansas was crowned Miss Arkansas on June 18, 2022, competing as Ms. Dogwood and becoming the first Miss Arkansas from Harrison.

Mitchell won a $30,000 scholarship plus more than $75,000 in awards, wardrobe, transportation, and gifts, along with multiple competition awards including the Sarah Slocum Overall Private Interview Award and Bill Tarkington Overall Evening Gown Award.

Mitchell promotes her personal platform of "A Responsible Digital You" through state appearances and competed for Miss America 2023 in December 2022 in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas (2019) and a Master of Health Administration from John Brown University (2022), and previously served as captain of the University of Central Arkansas Cheerleading Team.

The Senate recognizes Miss Arkansas 2022 Ebony Mitchell and directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide her a copy of the resolution.
