Iran launched over 350 missiles and drones directly at Israel beginning April 13, 2024, marking the first time Iran conducted a direct attack on Israel.

99% of the projectiles were intercepted by Israel, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Jordan, minimizing casualties and damage.

The General Assembly condemns the attack, reaffirms Israel's right to self-defense, and fully supports Israel's right to respond through military, diplomatic, economic, and other necessary means.

The resolution calls on all countries to condemn Iran's attack and commends the U.S. military and allied nations for intercepting the missiles and drones.

The General Assembly urges full enforcement of U.S. sanctions and export controls against Iran to impede its nuclear program, missile and drone development, and funding of terrorist groups and proxies.
