Mountain View High School Dance Team won the 2023 Arkansas Activities 1A-4A Dance Championship with 1st place in High Kick and Pom, 2nd place in Jazz, and the Best Costume Award.

Team members include Mabry Deitrick, Josie Callahan, Michelle McDonald, Kashlee Morgan, Ella Fletcher, Raegan Turner, Emily Chitwood, Madyson Thomas, Bronwyn Clayborn, Kiley Deitrick, Jacie Gammill, and Ava Mitchell.

Mabry Deitrick was named All State, and both Mabry Deitrick and Josie Callahan were selected for the state's All Star Dance Team.

Coach Julie Turner has coached the varsity dance team for 5 years, winning 3 state championships and 1 state runner-up, and was selected to coach the state All Star Dance Team.

This marks the eighth state championship for Mountain View High School; the Senate recognizes the team as 2023 dance champions and directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide a copy of the resolution to Coach Julie Turner.
