Prohibits healthcare professionals in Arkansas from engaging in conversion therapy, defined as any practice seeking to change a person's sexual orientation or gender identity

Conversion therapy includes efforts to change behaviors, gender expressions, or eliminate/reduce sexual or romantic attractions toward persons of the same gender

Exempts counseling that assists with gender transition, provides acceptance and support, or facilitates identity exploration and development without seeking to change orientation or identity

Healthcare professionals who violate the ban face disciplinary action from their licensing or certifying state entity, including suspension or revocation of their license

Applies to any person licensed, certified, or authorized under Arkansas law to administer health care
