Creates a new licensure category for anesthesiologist assistants in Arkansas, defined as graduates of approved training programs who work under direct supervision of an anesthesiologist

Requires the Arkansas State Medical Board to license, regulate, and discipline anesthesiologist assistants, including maintaining public records of licensees and sharing information about suspended or revoked licenses with other states

Applicants must pass the examination administered by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants; applications expire after one year if not completed

Supervising anesthesiologists must file a written protocol with the Medical Board before an anesthesiologist assistant begins practice, including names, license numbers, practice location, duties, and emergency procedures

Authorizes anesthesiologist assistants to perform specific duties under direct supervision, including patient history collection, airway management, administering anesthesia drugs and blood products, epidural/spinal procedures, and placing central venous lines
