Applies to private insurance plans, Arkansas Medicaid, the Arkansas Health and Opportunity for Me Program, and the State and Public School Life and Health Insurance Program

Lung cancer screening uses low-dose computed tomography (CT) scans for high-risk individuals, including current and former smokers ages 50-80 with at least 20 pack-years of smoking history

Legislative findings cite that lung cancer kills approximately 1,825 Arkansans annually and only 3.7% of eligible individuals currently get screened, compared to 4.5% nationally
