State agencies required to submit recurring reports to the General Assembly must file the report exactly three (3) times, after which reporting automatically ceases unless the receiving entity requests continuation

"Recurring report" is defined as any report filed more than once that is either required by statute or requested by the General Assembly, its committees/subcommittees, or its officers

After the third submission, state agencies must notify the receiving entity that no further reports will be filed unless specifically requested

The General Assembly, committees, subcommittees, or officers retain authority to direct agencies to resume filing recurring reports at any time after cessation

For reports already submitted more than three times before the effective date, the receiving entity may immediately request the agency stop filing unless future reports are specifically requested
