All officially scheduled, special, and called open public meetings must be recorded in video format with sound and picture, eliminating the previous options for sound-only or broadcast recordings

Public entities must post video recordings of open public meetings on their website within 24 hours after the meeting

Public entities without a website must post the video recording to a social media account created and maintained by the entity within 24 hours

Video recordings must be maintained for a minimum of one year from the date of the meeting in a format that can be reproduced upon request

Executive sessions and volunteer fire departments are exempt from the video recording requirements
