City of Cabot received the 2024 Arkansas Business Trendsetter City award in the Technology and Security category for its broadband initiative, a $20,000,000 bond project with Connect2First that created a comprehensive fiber optic network covering all residents and businesses

Cabot became one of Arkansas's first "multi-gig" cities through this fiber optic network, improving healthcare access, educational opportunities, and economic development

City received an honorable mention in the Tourism Development and Creative Culture category for Gametime at the Grounds, a 128,000 square foot indoor mega sports complex that is the first of its kind in Arkansas

Gametime at the Grounds features 9 regulation basketball courts that convert to 17 volleyball courts or 27 pickleball courts, plus a large indoor turf area for soccer and baseball/softball batting practice

Upon adoption, the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives will provide a copy of this resolution to City of Cabot leaders
