Arkansas Forestry Commission gains authority to impose civil penalties up to $5,000 on individuals required to be registered who practice forestry without valid certification, falsely claim forester status, use another's certificate, provide false evidence, or use expired/revoked certificates

Violations remain punishable as Class A misdemeanors upon conviction, but civil penalties are now available as an additional enforcement tool

Arkansas Forestry Commission receives new rulemaking authority to establish a penalty matrix for forestry registration violations under § 17-31-105(a)
