Public school districts and open-enrollment charter schools may allow private school students to participate in interscholastic activities (sports, fine arts, clubs) at their resident school if the private school lacks that activity approved by the Arkansas Activities Association

Private schools must be registered nonprofits and accredited or licensed by an accrediting association recognized by the State Board of Education for their students to be eligible

Participating private school students must enroll in a nonacademic class period at the public school that coincides with the interscholastic activity when it occurs outside regular class periods

The resident school district receives one-sixth (1/6) of the state foundation funding amount under § 6-20-2305 for each participating private school student's enrollment duration
