Appropriates $1,700,000 from the Public School Fund Account to the Department of Education - Division of Elementary and Secondary Education for out-of-school time program grants for fiscal year 2025-2026

Eligible programs must operate minimum 12 hours weekly, four days per week during the school year, and provide evidence-based academic enhancement in at least two areas: STEM, academic support, goal setting/leadership, career exposure/workforce readiness, or community service

Grant recipients must be qualified 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) organizations in operation for more than 5 years with demonstrated fiscal accountability and a sustainability model requiring minimum 50% of funding from non-state resources

Programs must implement safety standards including employee background checks, comply with mandated reporting laws, and collect data on participant demographics, attendance, and program participation

Contains an emergency clause making the act effective July 1, 2025, with provisions expiring June 30, 2026
