Arkansas Medicaid must cover applied behavior analysis (ABA) services for adults over 21 with autism who participate in the Community and Employment Services Waiver and have a medical necessity determination from a physician, psychologist, or psychiatrist

ABA services must be delivered based on individual beneficiary needs, including one-to-one services at home and in the community

Services must be provided by a board certified behavior analyst or a registered behavior technician under board certified behavior analyst supervision

ABA services cannot be limited or restricted to group and clinical settings only

Department of Human Services must apply for any federal waiver, Medicaid state plan amendment, or other authorization needed to implement these requirements
