AR SB85

Prohibits the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees from commercially harvesting timber at the Pine Tree Research Station in St. Francis County, acquired from the U.S. Forest Service in 1978

Allows timber management solely for wildlife management purposes, including limited harvesting or logging under that exception

Requires the Board of Trustees to submit any wildlife management timber contracts to the Senate and House Committees on Agriculture, Forestry, and Economic Development for prior review before implementation

Amends Arkansas Code § 6-64-718 concerning preservation of the Pine Tree Research Station
