Recognizes and celebrates Arkansas Forestry Day at the State Capitol on January 21, 2025

Arkansas forests total 18.9 million acres, with 15.3 million acres privately owned and 3.6 million acres publicly owned; 67% of forests are owned by family forest landowners

Forestry contributes $7 billion to the state's economy and provides $1.85 billion in direct wages, supporting 26,980 direct jobs and 54,759 total jobs

Forests provide habitat for more than 600 species of fish and wildlife and produce over 5,000 products used daily

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to the President of the Arkansas Forestry Association upon adoption
